The Found Bottle

Original slide image taken by Ashby Presley in 1977 while The Old Quarters was under construction. The outdoor amphitheater was being built and the wine bottle was found in the dirt, placed on the block and photo taken. Created this painterly composition after fixing the old slide.

Ashby2 Collage

Ashby Rousseau Roth photography scanned and used for a collage artwork. This is my mother probably in her 20's, a black and white photography taken during her modeling years.

Gazing at the Trees

Image of myself, Ashby 3, taken by Leslie Rousseau in 1968. Visiting my aunt with my mother and she was using me as a. model to experiment with her photography. The scanned slide had lots of damage so used a blurring and painterly techniques to cover the flaws to create this ethereal composition. Several overlays and textures also added for color toning.
