Multnomah Falls and Portland
Multnomah Falls is just a 30-minute drive from Portland. A magnificent waterfall at 611 feet, you can walk the trail for several viewing points. It was rainy and misty the day we were there but we still enjoyed our visit. After a great brunch at the Multnomah Lodge, we headed back to Portland and spent time at Powell's Book store, the largest independent used and new bookstore in the world.
Later that evening we had a fabulous dinner at an Italian Restaurant, got some famous Voodoo Doughnuts and closed the night out at Kells Irish Pub.
